Zach and Katie’s beautiful Culver Academy Wedding this past summer took place in the charming lake town of Culver, Indiana. Culver Academy was the perfect setting to start a marriage since it was where this gorgeous couple met 7 years ago. The Reception was at the beautiful Swan Lake Resort just a few minutes from Culver. Zach and Katie are so beautiful both inside and out, I truly hope we can be friends with this amazing pair.

How they Met
Our story began in 2009 at Culver Academies boarding school in Culver, Indiana. We were a snowball throw away from becoming best friends and doe-eyed lovers. *Zach and his friends were immaturely throwing snowballs at passing girls headed to their dorms. Katie saw this happening and attempted to put a stop to it. Zach was the only one to drop his snowball at Katie’s request, he was instantly enamored with this strong-willed outgoing woman.* Throughout the rest of the year we became very close friends, doing everything from sailing together on the sailing team to Katie joining the swim team in hopes of spending more time together. As summer approached, we made plans to see each other any chance we could, wishing it would speed by so we could be back together. Ultimately it took Katie’s best friend to urge Zach to ask Katie on a date, it was the beginning of what would be the most rewarding relationship either could ever hope to be part of.
