Meet Alicia & Louie! This fairy tale couple invited us along for their epic castle wedding. Louie is a professional photographer so his choice in picking us for there wedding day was not something we took lightly, in fact we were honored. We were thrilled that these two took a risk on keeping the ceremony outside when the weather was iffy and we made it through dry with beautiful photos. Our favorite part of their wedding day besides the castle was the fanny packs! Louie and Alicia are such kind and caring people, it’s very seldom at a wedding where the couple takes so much care of their vendors, they even had a special table set up just for us to have a place for our camera gear! These two are great and we wish them all the best, Enjoy these incredible photos, I know we did 🙂
THE PROPOSAL
This is Alicia’s recount of me proposing:
Since we met around Halloween, Louie and I decided that we would go out for our anniversary dinner on that night. Little did I know Louis had been planning on proposing to me months before we decided this. Halloween finally came around and naturally I injured myself at work. With a little convincing Louie finally got me to get all dressed up and was able to take me out. We had decided to dress up as our favorite “Clue” characters. I was Ms. Scarlet and Louie was Professor Plum. Louie took me to J Bella in Strongsville for a romantic dinner. He insisted that I bring in a cupcake to the restaurant; I was firmly against it and forced him to bring it in. Louie was looking really excited and could not stop smiling all night. I should have known something was coming because I had jokingly told him months before that we were going to get engaged on Halloween. After dinner Louie secretly passed his phone off to our server. I noticed that they were taking pictures of us and I was slightly concerned. Very quickly Louie took out the cupcake and said it was for our anniversary. He told me that he forgot the card at home so he tore off a piece of a napkin and wrote me a love note. He asked me if I knew what it meant, which of course I just thought it meant that he loved me. He told me to look closer, so I tried really hard and didn’t see anything else. Louie then took out a candle and placed it in the cupcake. When he lit the candle I tried holding I up to see if I could see the hidden message. He took the note and held it to the candle and in a burst of flames it turned into my ring! He said “It means I love you forever.” I was in awe and immediately said YES before he could even ask me. He got down on one knee and the restaurant applauded his beautiful gesture. When we got home his family was waiting and I could not stop smiling.
ABOUT THE WEDDING
The wedding was perfect and beautiful. I mean how can it not be? We are surrounded with the people that we love and care about and celebrating the start of our new lives together. I am still amazed that the rain had stopped as Alicia walked down the aisle!
we couldn’t have asked for a better bridal party, and they took to the fanny packs pretty well :-). It wouldn’t have been the Best Day Ever without them. Speaking of Best Day Ever, Alicia was happy that she was able to have her Tangled themed wedding, and that she could make frogs a part of it for me.
